BIO

Gavin Smith is a licensed Civil Engineer and a Certified Floodplain Manager. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Arkansas with concentrations in LID, structural design, biology, and Spanish. Before his switch to engineering, Gavin is an iterant learner. He worked his way across the US and the world through a combination of sailing, farming, gardening, and carpentry in his 20s. In his spare time, he is an avid reader, boater, diver, and gardener. He lives in West Fork Arkansas.
